A local council in Wales is seeking an Operational Coordinator to manage a team and oversee the Integrated Community Equipment Services. You will play a crucial role in delivering care by ensuring the logistical operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and experience in supervising staff. Ceredigion Integrated Community Equipment Service (ICES) are looking to recruit an Operational Coordinator. ICES fulfills a key role in the provision of care in the community by supplying important medical equipment to residents who need support. This helps to prevent hospital and care home admissions, expedites discharge, and supports people’s independence in their own home.
About the role
The successful candidate will be a key member of the management team in ICES, they will be the first line manager for five members of staff, and second line manager for two others. The role will also involve deputising for the Team Manager when they are not available, managing the day-to-day running of the service, chairing meetings, and occasionally attending regional or national forums.
