Job summary

Cognitive Group, part of the Focus Cloud Group, is seeking an Operational Technology (OT) Consultant to join our Digital & Data practice in the UK. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, resilient OT solutions across a diverse project portfolio.

The role requires SC clearance or eligibility, with hybrid working across office, client-site and remote locations. You will engage stakeholders through workshops, help secure OT environments and advance security architecture in

Qualifications

• SC Clearance required or eligible for SC Clearance.
• Extensive experience securing industrial control and OT environments (SCADA, DCS, PLCs).
• Knowledge of OT cyber security risk management and security architecture.
• Experience across energy, utilities, transport or similar critical sectors.

Responsibilities

• Work across agile, cross-functional teams to deliver client solutions.
• Apply technical expertise to OT security challenges.
• Collaborate with stakeholders through workshops, whiteboarding sessions and technical discussions.
• Contribute to client engagements and internal initiatives.
• Support the design, implementation and improvement of OT security strategies and controls.

• OT cyber security risk management
• Security architecture

Industry Knowledge

• Experience in one or more of the following sectors:
• Electricity generation, transmission and distribution
• Distributed energy and smart energy
• Smart metering
• Oil & Gas
• Water Utilities
• Nuclear
• Transport (aviation, rail, maritime, road and autonomous vehicles)
• Critical National Infrastructure (CNI)

Security Frameworks & Standards

• Knowledge of relevant standards and frameworks, including:
• NCSC NIS Guidance and Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF)
