An exciting opportunity has arisen within our service at the Hillingdon & Mount Vernon Hospital NHS Trust for an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated ODP/Anaesthetic Nurse to join our friendly dynamic hard‑working theatre team.
The Hillingdon Hospital & Mount Vernon NHS Trust is a busy district general situated near London’s Heathrow Airport. The diagnostic and treatment centre at Mount Vernon Hospital will provide day‑care and elective surgery for the Hillingdon area. Staff will benefit from excellent learning and development opportunities.
The theatre suites at both sites comprise 13 theatres and 2 recovery units, covering specialities such as robotics, orthopaedics/trauma, gynaecology, urology, general, colorectal, dental, pain, ophthalmic and general. The department operates 24‑hour theatre provision including obstetrics. Participation in shifts, nights and weekends is essential.
The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services, including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Mount Vernon site provides routine day surgery at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.

Salary: £35,763 to £43,466 per annum (including HCAA)
