Job summary

Nuffield Health in Shrewsbury Hospital is seeking a permanent, full-time Theatre Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner to deliver clinical care across anaesthetics, recovery and scrub, while supervising junior staff and supporting on-call duties. The role involves weekend shifts and a varied caseload, with three operating theatres equipped with current technology.

To be considered, candidates must hold NMC or HCPC registration and have prior scrub experience, enabling them to work

Responsibilities

• Supervise, support and develop junior members of staff.

• Work alongside consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Support continuity of patient care with colleagues on the ward.
• Carry out on-call duties.
