Overview

OOH Veterinary Surgeon – Dewsbury

Recently renovated, RCVS accredited Tier 3 hospital in West Yorkshire. Advanced diagnostics include in-theatre X-ray, two ultrasound scanners including a top-of-the-line echo scanner, and on-site modern CT. Rota of 7 nights on and 14 nights off. Competitive salary of up to £66,000+. Generous package including enhanced equal family leave and a bonus scheme.

Key Details
  • 7 nights on, 14 nights off rota; cover Monday to Friday 8pm–8am, and Saturday–Sunday 6pm–8am.
  • During shifts, supported by a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) and a Patient Care Assistant (PCA).
  • Certificate study actively encouraged and fully funded.
  • Hospital facilities include theatre suite with three theatres, dedicated scrub area, separate wards (cats, dogs, exotics, ICU), extensive diagnostic capabilities (in-theatre X-ray, two ultrasound units including an echo scanner, on-site CT), a full range of scopes (flexible, rigid, laparoscopic), dental suite with X-ray, fully equipped internal laboratory, and a Rehabilitation Centre with physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, laser therapy, and a canine hot spa.
