Job summary

A UK-based IT Support Company is looking for an Onsite Support Technician to deliver IT support and maintenance services to clients. The ideal candidate should have a customer service background and familiarity with hardware configurations, as well as a good understanding of Windows and iOS systems. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required. This role offers training and opportunities for growth within the company.

LetMerepair has an exciting opportunity for an Onsite Support Technician to join our hardworking and knowledgeable team. Within this role you would visit customers to provide onsite IT support and ensure that they receive the best possible customer service.

FULL DRIVING LICENSE REQUIRED

This role comes with full training; the first few weeks will be spent shadowing a member of our highly experienced and supportive team to ensure that you are fully equipped to support the clients in your area. With this in mind we are open to considering people with an interest in IT without hands‑on work experience in this field.

What you will be doing
  • Provide scheduled technical maintenance and support.
  • Provide reactive IT support as required, including telephone support, remote support, site visits and assistance with hardware quotations.
  • Research and document development projects and procedures for the team in line with strategic objectives for the business.
What we are looking for
  • Background in Customer Service.
  • Experience with the configurations, set‑up and day‑to‑day operations of a broad range of current hardware devices – including Hoovers, White Appliances, printers and other peripherals – is desirable.
  • Good understanding of current Windows operating systems and iOS is desirable.
  • Some knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy is desirable but not essential.
  • Some understanding of network LANs and WANs is desirable but not essential.
  • Full UK licence with access to own vehicle.
