Job summary

S&B Utilities is seeking a Site Supervisor for Sizewell C Nuclear Power Station. You will oversee day-to-day construction activities, coordinate between trades and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence.

The role requires 5+ years of site supervision experience on infrastructure or utilities projects, NVQ 3+, and recognised safety certifications. Permanent role with a competitive salary, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience supervising construction activities on infrastructure, industrial or utilities projects.
• NVQ Level 3 or above in Construction, Engineering or a related discipline.
• SSSTS, CSCS Gold Supervisor Card and IOSH Working Safely (or equivalent).
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and direct labour teams.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, quality requirements and safe systems of work.
• Excellent organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple work activities simultaneously.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Supervising site operatives and subcontractors on daily construction activities.
• Promoting and maintaining high health, safety and environmental standards.
• Delivering work packages in line with programme requirements and project schedules.
• Monitoring workforce productivity, attendance and site performance.
• Conducting toolbox talks, safety briefings and site inspections.
• Ensuring works comply with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinating activities between trades, subcontractors and project teams.
• Supporting testing, commissioning and handover activities.
