Sellick Partnership is working with a leading Multi Academy Trust to appoint a School Finance Manager for a secondary school in Berkshire. The role is permanent, full-time and onsite, reporting to the Head Teacher and the Director of Finance.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in school finance, budgeting and reporting, and will oversee a small finance team while using FMS software to manage day-to-day finances and month-end processes.

Qualificações

• Extensive experience working in a secondary school, school environment or Multi Academy Trust.
• Extensive hands-on experience using FMS finance software.
• Experience managing or supervising a finance team.
• Strong knowledge of school finance, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders such as Head Teachers or Directors of Finance.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day financial operations of the secondary school.
• Supervise a small finance team of one.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts and financial reports.
• Provide financial information and advice to leadership.
• Report to Head Teacher and Director of Finance.
• Monitor income and expenditure against budgets and investigate variances.
• Oversee purchase orders, invoicing, payments and income processes.
• Support month-end and year-end financial processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure financial controls.
• Support audit requirements and provide financial information as required.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies of the Multi Academy Trust.
