Job summary

OLG Recruitment currently seeks Roofing and Sheeting Technicians for a client in Scunthorpe. The role is an ongoing temporary contract, generally Monday to Friday, with duties spanning installation, repair and maintenance of roofing and sheeting systems.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Roofing Technician, Sheeting Technician, Roofer, Cladder or similar, and be proficient with reading drawings and working to specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience as Roofing Technician, Sheeting Technician, Roofer, Cladder or similar.
• Strong practical experience in roofing, cladding or industrial sheeting.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently on site.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Installation, repair and maintenance of roofing and sheeting systems.
• Work with a range of roofing and cladding materials.
• Read and work from drawings and specifications.
• Carry out roofing and sheeting work to a high standard.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a wider site team.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Complete tasks within agreed timescales and quality standards.
