Job summary

A leading energy solutions company is looking for a Site Supervisor, Trainee to lead on-site activities across the UK. This role involves managing project execution from start to finish, ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and project specifications. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical engineering and relevant experience in the construction or installation sector. Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and knowledge of HSE regulations are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in construction and/or installation business preferred.
  • Basic understanding of transmission regulations and current HSE legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Plan project on-site activities with the Project Manager including resources and milestones.
  • Responsible for managing site from receiving area to handover.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure correct handling, storage, and installation of equipment.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with HSE.
  • Control project costs and track actual spend against forecasts.
  • Manage sub-contractors to meet quality and progress standards.
  • Report regularly on HSE, quality, progress, and costs.
