Job summary

OH Medical at Heathrow Airport's Terminal 3 is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Technician to cover a maternity leave. The role involves health surveillance, baseline measurements, audiometry and drug testing, all within a busy aviation environment.

You will work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00–16:00, on-site, with a pension, life cover and generous leave. The successful candidate will be proactive, highly accurate, and able to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Occupational Health Technician or similar role.
• Experience undertaking health surveillance.
• Experience completing fit-for-work assessments.
• Competence in baseline measurements and screening procedures.
• Proactive, self-motivated with strong organisation and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking health screening and health surveillance.
• Completing baseline measurements such as height, weight and blood pressure.
• Conducting urinalysis, audiometry and lung function testing.
• Undertaking fit-for-work assessments.
• Carrying out drug and alcohol testing.
• Accurately recording medical and screening information.
• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary Occupational Health team.
• Maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.
