Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Maintenance Operative at RAF Cranwell, near Sleaford in Lincolnshire. This on-site, full-time role runs 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an on-call rota. You will support maintenance tasks and health and safety compliance to keep training environments safe and compliant.

The role requires a Full UK Driving Licence and the ability to obtain Security Check clearance. A proactive, organised approach and good communication with contractors and site stakeholders are

Responsibilities

• Monitoring building systems, equipment and facilities to stay safe, compliant and operational.
• Carrying out routine testing, inspections and water hygiene tasks.
• Performing minor repairs, touch-up painting and general maintenance across the site.
• Supporting building presentation through spot cleaning and upkeep.
• Escorting contractors and helping maintain compliance with health, safety and statutory requirements.
