Job summary

A technology service provider in the UK is looking for an IT Field Engineer responsible for onsite repair services of Desktop PCs, Laptops, and Servers. The candidate will maintain customer relations, complete job updates, and ensure effective communication with management teams. Experience in hardware repair and a CSCS Card are required for this full-time field-based position. A company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card is required.
• Previous experience in a field service repair role is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Laptop/Desktop hardware break/fix methodology is needed.
• Understanding of RAID principles for server hardware repair is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent customer relations and ensure operational devices.
• Complete job progress updates before leaving customer sites.
• Communicate effectively with management teams.
• Finish all allocated work and complete service administration.
• Maintain allocated boot stock.
• Keep the company vehicle clean.
• Ensure locatability of job parts.
