Job summary

Greencore, a leading UK food producer, is recruiting a Department Trainer at Manton Wood to develop colleagues and raise hygiene standards across the site. You will work with the hygiene team to train new and existing staff, ensuring high levels of food safety and compliance.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts to refresh SOPs, run refresher training, and maintain training records. The role involves 1-to-1 coaching on the factory floor and auditing training effectiveness, supporting

Qualifications

• Attainment of Numeracy and Literacy at entry Level 2.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Email and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for quality.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene practices and procedures.
• Hands on experience buddying and coaching individuals to learn new tasks.
• Train the Trainer qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and buddy new starters in the first 12 weeks of employment.
• Update SOPs and deliver refresher training as required.
• Develop hygiene training programs for staff.
• Provide 1-to-1 coaching on the factory floor to ensure food safety.
• Maintain training records and skills matrices for all colleagues.
• Assist in creating Cleaning Instruction Cards and verify training.
• Audit training quality and competence through regular checks.
