Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is expanding its field sales team with a Venue Sales Representative role in the Southampton area. You will be the face of our brand at venues, engaging customers, explaining our energy tariffs and low carbon technologies, and delivering outstanding service to new and existing customers.

No prior sales experience is required—we’ll train you. A positive, outgoing attitude and a willingness to travel between venues are key.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and listening skills are essential.
• Willingness to travel between multiple venues and meet new people.

Responsibilities

• Directly engage with customers at venues to promote energy tariffs and low carbon technologies.
• Introduce Octopus Energy to local communities and help customers compare offerings to other energy suppliers.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming experience for every new customer brought on board.
