Job Description

We are seeking a customer-focused and enthusiastic Deskside Support Engineer with a passion for solving IT challenges and delivering exceptional user experiences. This is a fully site-based role supporting one of our valued clients, including VIP users, where professionalism, technical expertise, and excellent communication are key.

Location

London Paddington Office

You’ll be part of a collaborative IT support team, providing hands‑on technical assistance across a range of devices and platforms. If you enjoy working directly with users, thrive in a dynamic environment, and have a solid foundation in desktop support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on‑site support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Deliver high‑quality customer service to all users, including VIPs, with confidence and professionalism.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across Windows platforms.
  • Build and deploy PCs, patch network points, and resolve printer and connectivity issues.
  • Maintain and update site‑specific documentation and knowledgebase articles.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal support teams and third‑party vendors.
  • Manage incidents, IMACs (Install, Move, Add, Change), and project‑related tasks.
  • Use remote support tools and ticketing systems to track and resolve issues.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (current and legacy).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, Intune, etc.).
  • Experience with Windows imaging techniques (network and local).
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
  • Skilled in desktop and printer configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with ticket management systems and remote desktop tools.
  • Comfortable working alongside third‑party vendors and service providers.
  • Flexible and organized with strong time management skills.
