Job summary

Babcock is hiring an Assistant Project Manager Construction for its Rosyth site. You will support the successful delivery of construction, infrastructure and engineering projects, ensuring safety, efficiency and high quality while coordinating with project managers, contractors and stakeholders.

You will manage planning, scheduling, cost tracking, reporting and risk management, with a strong focus on CDM compliance and safety in live environments.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting the delivery of construction, infrastructure or facilities projects.
• Experience working in site-based environments and coordinating contractor activities.
• Understanding of project management principles including planning, cost control, reporting and risk management.
• Working knowledge of health and safety requirements including CDM 2015 or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Supporting project planning, scheduling and progress tracking across multiple construction activities.
• Coordinating contractors and site activities, including inspections and permits.
• Monitoring project costs, budgets and contractor payments.
• Assisting with health and safety activities: toolbox talks, RAMS reviews, CDM compliance.
• Managing project reporting, risk and change registers and stakeholder engagement.
