Job summary

Eurofins PSS is recruiting an Analytical Scientist to provide on-site analytical support at the Wirral facility, part of the Bristol Myers Squibb Moreton site. The role handles routine and non-routine testing of pharmaceutical products, with a strong emphasis on HPLC, Dissolution, and Karl Fischer within a GMP framework.

You will review data, support transfers, and contribute to QA and continuous improvement, in a fully employed position with a 35-hour week and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry; GMP experience considered in lieu.
• Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry and HPLC; modern techniques.
• Experience in pharmaceutical testing labs (solid dose) with HPLC, Dissolution, Karl Fischer, UV.
• GMP environment experience; data interpretation, troubleshooting and documentation.
• Experience with ELN/LIMS and MS Office; proactive and collaborative.
• Flexible approach; able to switch priorities and contribute improvements.
• Committed to quality and customer service; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analysis of pharmaceutical products using HPLC, Dissolution, Karl Fischer.
• Support technology transfers and ensure alignment with client procedures.
• Assist in analytical development and validation activities.
• Review data for GMP compliance and manage OOS investigations.
• Document data per client policies and prepare/approve test results.
• Maintain productivity and assist audits, method revisions, and QC testing.
• Liaise with client reps and support continuous improvement.
