Job summary

A leading engineering firm in the United Kingdom is seeking an enthusiastic Instrument Technician to join their multi-disciplined team at the Wytch Farm facility. You will be responsible for maintaining and testing instrument-related equipment to ensure efficient operation. The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited engineering apprenticeship and possess experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited apprenticeship or HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
  • Previous Oil & Gas industry experience is desirable.
  • Experience working with ATEX equipment (CompEx trained) is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and maintain the Wytch Farm oilfield as part of a multi-disciplined team.
  • Perform scheduled and breakdown maintenance on various systems.
  • Develop and review operational and maintenance procedures.
  • Support projects and work with vendors and sub-contractors.
