A prominent supermarket and tech firm in Welwyn Garden City seeks an Online Trading Manager. You will manage the strategic planning, execution, and optimisation of trade content across digital platforms. Key responsibilities include collaborating with various teams to ensure content effectiveness and leveraging analytics for continuous improvement. This role also requires strong eCommerce knowledge and team leadership skills while promoting flexible and inclusive working environments.
As the Online Trading Manager - Ecommerce Content & Campaigns, you will lead the strategic planning, execution, and optimisation of trade-related content across Tesco’s grocery homepage, trade events, and value propositions across the Tesco digital estate.
You’ll champion the use of new capabilities within your team, ensuring the team effectively utilises tools like CMS features and works closely with the Online Trading Tools Manager and the Online Trade Planning team to test new personalised trade capabilities. You’ll also define differentiated strategies for the GHP and App homepage, recognising their distinct roles in fulfilling customer missions.
You’ll work cross-functionally with Customer, Creative, UX, Digital Marketing, and Propositional teams to ensure content is inspirational, relevant, and strategically aligned. You’ll also apply project management principles, including stakeholder mapping and end-to-end customer journey mapping, to ensure seamless coordination and engagement across all touchpoints. You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of online trading at Tesco, bringing energy, innovation, and leadership to a fast-paced, evolving digital environment.
