Job summary

Asda in Mansfield is seeking an Online Manager to lead the day-to-day online operation in store, ensuring van logistics, availability and customer satisfaction. You will plan and execute trading activity on the shopfloor, lead a team through coaching and data-driven decision making, and drive picking accuracy to support a seamless online shopping experience for customers.

At Asda, we want you to find your everything as an Online Manager. You’ll play a vital role in the day-to-day running of our Online operation in store by keeping our team engaged, vans on the road and customers happy.

You will be responsible for the online shrink agenda with structured processes and data-led decisions and for validating picker and driver resource for the store through effective rota planning, ensuring the team drives picking accuracy to guarantee consistency in the online operation.

What qualities you’ll need:

• Drive strategy into action: Planning and executing all trading activity on the shopfloor, delivering high availability standards, key metrics and KRAs through routine processes.
• Lead with impact: Engaging and coaching your team to continually improve routines and processes, creating a culture of selling with personality, driving pick accuracy and serving customers with care.
• Results-focused: Drive value across the online operation, CSI, and respond to customer feedback with action plans from audits.
• Talent Development: Listen with empathy, drive resilience, encourage ownership and create an environment where people feel valued, trusted, and motivated to grow.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager in a complex online retail environment.
• Operational knowledge of the online retail environment.
• Knowledge of improving availability, picking rate, reducing waste, and managing shrink.
• Experience developing teams and managing change through leadership and building resilience.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent customer service.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
