Job summary

Move Language Ahead (MLA) invites online EFL teachers to join year-round Get Ready programme, teaching online and then joining summer centres in the UK or USA. The role offers guaranteed hours, a fixed online timetable, training, and opportunities to gain academic management experience.

You must have Level 5 TEFL, CEFR C2, online teaching experience with young learners; eligibility to work in the UK/USA; and be prepared for Cambridge exams if applicable.

Qualifications

• Have experience teaching EFL to online groups.
• Have proven experience teaching young learners.
• Be confident teaching lower-level learners.
• Hold a Level 5 TEFL qualification with observed Teaching Practice.
• Familiar with online teaching platforms and EdTech.
• English proficiency at CEFR C2.
• Eligible to work in the UK and/or USA.
• Able to provide two professional references.
• Able to obtain safeguarding/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver online English lessons via Zoom and MLA platform.
• Prepare students for Cambridge Exam Preparation courses (A2 Key to C1).
• Deliver Work Skills lessons using MLA resources and task-based approaches.
• Deliver General English online using the MLA syllabus and adaptable plans.
• Ensure classes have max 15 students, adjust by age/level (A1–C1).
• Provide feedback on language use and communication skills.
