A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Systems Integration Specialist dedicated to implementing a single integrated electronic patient record system. This role is crucial for improving patient outcomes and requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. The ideal candidate will have excellent skills in data integration and experience with healthcare interoperability standards. Location is based in Portsmouth or Newport, with potential travel required between sites.
The OneEPR Programme exists to implement a singleintegrated electronic patient record (EPR) designed to improve patient outcomesand the experience of delivering care for our patients.
The solution is the direct result of the combinedvision and strategic goals of:
1. Isle of Wight NHS Trust (IWT)
2. Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust (PHU)
3. Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT)
4. University Hospital Southampton Foundation Trust(UHS)
The Trusts will work together with their clinicaland departmental experts alongside regional digital colleagues to procure andimplement a joint EPR over the coming years .
Location: Base location either St Mary's Hospital,Parkhurst Road, Newport, Isle of Wight,PO30 5TG, or Building 4000, Lakeside,North Harbour, Cosham, Portsmouth, PO6 3EN.
Across site travel may be required, the frequency willbe agreed locally
The Systems Integration Specialist will be a keyplayer in the Trusts strategic goal to converge to a single EPR. This willinvolve working with system suppliers to identify any new data flows requiredto link key systems as well as migrating integration solutions across differentintegration platforms.
