One to One SEND Teaching Assistant (16-19-year-olds) Burton on Trent (DE14)

Salary £115 per day.

Full Time (9.00 - 16.30) Start: 1/12/25.

In this rewarding role, you will provide personalised support to learners who require additional assistance across their main study programmes, as well as those retaking GCSE Maths and English.

About the Role
  • Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs, some of which have an EHCP.
  • Follow and implement individualised education plans.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists.
  • Support during their mainstream programme as well as GCSE maths and English lessons.
  • Work alongside our experienced team which includes specialist teachers, teaching assistants, therapist and counsellors.
About You
  • A passion for supporting young adults with autism and behavioural difficulties.
  • Background in supporting core subjects as well as practical subjects such as cooking and various sporting activities.
  • Calm, patient, and resilient approach, with a deep understanding of behaviour as communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, team player, and willingness to grow professionally through feedback and training.
  • Must hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification preferably in the relevant field.
