Job summary

Remedy Tutoring is seeking committed tutors to provide one-to-one tuition for children and young people in Croydon and nearby areas. You will work with learners with diverse needs, including SEN, adapting your approach to help them make progress at their own pace.

Ideal candidates hold QTS/PGCE or equivalent, have at least two years of teaching/tutoring experience, and are confident teaching English and Maths across primary/secondary levels, with reliability and strong communication.

Qualifications

• QTS, PGCE or another recognised teaching qualification.
• A minimum of two years' relevant teaching or tutoring experience.
• SEN experience and understanding of differentiated teaching.
• Confidence teaching English and Maths across primary and/or secondary levels.
• Reliability, flexibility and excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to tuition locations across Croydon.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one tuition to children and young people across Croydon and surrounding areas.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learner needs and progress at their pace.
• Coordinate tuition arrangements based on each student’s requirements.

One-to-One SEN Tutors Wanted - Croydon

Do you enjoy helping students who need a more individualised approach to education?

Remedy Tutoring is looking for committed, qualified tutors to deliver one-to-one tuition to children and young people across Croydon and nearby areas.

Our placements support students with a wide range of learning needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, anxiety and gaps in education. We are looking for tutors who can adapt their approach, build positive relationships and help students make progress at their own pace.

This may suit experienced teachers who enjoy working in smaller, personalised learning environments and want to use their skills to support students who may find mainstream education challenging.

What we are looking for:

• QTS, PGCE or another relevant recognised teaching qualification.

• A minimum of two years' relevant teaching or tutoring experience.

• SEN experience and a strong understanding of differentiated teaching.

• Confidence teaching English and Maths across primary and/or secondary levels.
