Remedy Tutors is seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to work one-to-one with a student in the UB5 area. The role starts at 10 hours per week and aims to increase to 20 hours per week over time, delivering personalised Maths and English tuition to help the learner progress at a pace that suits them.

The successful candidate will use flexible teaching approaches, monitor progress and adapt materials to meet individual needs, fostering confidence and engagement throughout the learning journey.

Qualifications

• Ability to teach Maths and English is essential.
• Experience working with SEN/SEND students is beneficial.
• Strong communication and patience are essential.

Responsabilités

• Provide individualised one-to-one tuition.
• Deliver lessons in Maths and English.
• Identify learning gaps and support academic development.
• Adapt resources and teaching approaches to the student's learning needs.
• Encourage confidence, motivation and positive engagement.
• Track progress and communicate updates where required.
