Job Overview

One day nanny housekeeper role in Alresford, Hampshire (SO24). This family seeks a reliable, organised caregiver to support their two boys (ages 8 and 10) and maintain the family home. The position requires presence on one day per week (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday) from 7:20 am to 7:30 pm, consistently throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast and manage the children's school drop‑off and pick‑up (Ropley, 20‑minute drive, 8:35 am start).
• Plan and cook dinner, including any necessary pre‑mains if the mother has not pre‑cooked.
• Assist the boys with after‑school clubs (when scheduled) and supervise their bedtime routine.
• Clean the house during school hours, including general tidying, washing dishes, and any ironing required.
• Walk and care for the family’s 8‑month‑old Labrador puppy, including feeding, exercise, and companionship.
• During school holidays, create engaging day‑out plans and strengthen bonding with the children.
• Maintain the tidy, organised environment that defines this close‑knit family.

Compensation

£18‑20 per hour, up to £1,054.73 gross per hour; approximately £12,656.80 gross per annum.
