A leading nanny placement service in Alresford is seeking a reliable nanny housekeeper for a one-day-a-week role, taking care of two boys and managing household tasks. The ideal candidate should possess a paediatric first aid certificate and relevant experience. This position involves school drop-offs, cooking, and caring for a family pet. One day nanny housekeeper role, Alresford, Hampshire SO24. This family are looking for a reliable and organised nanny housekeeper to care for their two boys aged 8 and 10 years, as well as caring for the family home. The nanny housekeeper will be needed one day per week (either a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday) 7.20am to 7.30pm. The hours will remain the same throughout the year.
This is a lovely position with a mix of childcare and housekeeping tasks. Duties to include: breakfast prep, taking the children to school in Ropley (20min drive away) for an 8:35am start; collection from school; cooking dinner; depending on the day, there may be an after‑school club; shower/bath routine ready for Mum/Dad to put the boys to bed. During the school day: cleaning house, any ironing if applicable/time dependant, prep children’s dinner if Mum has not pre‑made it, etc. Care for the family’s 8‑month‑old Labrador puppy, including walking her (beautiful walks where we live so you will be spoilt for choice!) and keeping her company. The dog is crate trained so is very happy to be left for a few hours at a time, should that be necessary. During the school holidays the family understands that focus will shift more to the boys and welcomes the nanny housekeeper to plan fun days out and bond with them.
The boys love football, tennis and rock climbing. With the whole family loving the beach, fitness and dog walking together. They describe themselves as a loving, close‑knit family who are neat, tidy and organised. There is a lot of fun and humour in the home and they hope to welcome someone in to join that. The garden is idyllic, with a 2 acre plot containing a large trampoline, large football area, pond, big oak tree with a swing and a den for nerf gun and camp play.
