Job summary

Northwest Veterinary Specialists is seeking an experienced veterinary oncologist to join our dedicated oncology team on a full-time or part-time, permanent basis. You will work with board-certified colleagues and a team of nurses, imaging and surgery specialists to deliver cutting-edge cancer care in a purpose-built facility, with access to advanced therapies and a busy caseload.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a board-certified or residency-trained oncologist to join our dedicated oncology team at Northwest Veterinary Specialists on a full or part-time, permanent contract.

We have a strong and supportive oncology team with two board-certified oncologists and three dedicated oncology nurses. Our purpose-built oncology suite offers a dedicated chemotherapy room, and advanced therapies including lymph node mapping, electrochemotherapy and superficial radiation. We have a busy and varied caseload and pride ourselves on ensuring that we provide an outstanding service to our patients and clients.

The role

As an oncology clinician, you will manage a wide range of challenging and rewarding cases. Supported by a highly skilled team of nurses, anaesthetists, imaging and surgery specialists you will be empowered to develop innovative treatment plans and techniques that ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

• Board-certified or residency-trained in small animal oncology (ECVIM/ACVIM)
