RBW Consulting is seeking a Senior Medical Writer with oncology expertise to join their expert team. The role supports scientific strategy and publication programmes with hybrid/remote working options.

As a key scientific voice, you will lead content development, ensure scientific integrity, and mentor junior writers while collaborating across accounts to deliver impactful medical communications for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a medical communications agency at Senior Medical Writer level.
• Strong oncology background; a PhD is advantageous.
• Experience delivering outputs across medical affairs and publications.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment and how medical communications support wider clinical objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, writing and review of medical communications and publications in oncology.
• Take ownership of key projects ensuring scientific accuracy and alignment with client objectives.
• Provide scientific leadership on accounts and contribute to medical affairs strategies.
• Mentor junior writers and guide content development and best practices.
• Collaborate with client services and editorial teams to deliver cohesive programmes.
• Communicate complex data clearly for healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.
