Job summary

Icon UK is seeking an experienced Lead Pharmacist to oversee oncology pharmacy services at the Newport centre. You will provide clinical leadership, drive medicines governance, and support governance and service development across the oncology pathway.

The role requires strong leadership, collaboration with consultants, nurses and operations, and a focus on continuous improvement and patient-centered care within a national standard framework.

Qualifications

• Registered pharmacist with GPhC in the UK.
• Significant oncology experience in a cancer centre or hospital.
• Experience with electronic prescribing systems, especially Mosaiq.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe oncology pharmacy practice and develop clinical services.
• Grow oncology services and oversee governance for SACT.
• Contribute to medicines management, audits, and policy development.
• Manage day-to-day Oncology Pharmacy operations to ensure high standards.
