Job summary

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a compassionate nurse leader to join Weston Oncology and Haematology Day Unit as Supervisory Sister/Charge Nurse. You will lead a small, dedicated team delivering SACT and supportive therapies in a patient-centred environment.

The role focuses on clinical leadership, rostering, governance and continuous improvement within the cancer care pathway, supported by senior nursing colleagues.

Qualifications

• Leadership and management experience in a clinical setting.
• Experience in cancer nursing and SACT delivery is desirable but not essential.
• Commitment to person-centred care and team development.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory support to a team of registered nurses and healthcare support workers.
• Deliver clinical nursing care to patients receiving SACT and supportive therapies.
• Manage rosters, risk assessment, Datix, HR processes, recruitment, leave and budgets.
