Job summary

Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Staff Nurse for the Oncology and Haematology Day Treatment Unit. The post involves assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care, with responsibility for delivery of intravenous therapy and chemotherapy under supervision.

Applicants should be NMC registered (or eligible), willing to gain a post-basic qualification, and complete a SACT UKONS Passport.

Qualifications

• Must be NMC registered or eligible to register in the UK.
• Willing to work towards a post basic qualification in a relevant field.
• Completion of SACT UKONS Passport is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care during duty.
• Deliver chemotherapy and intravenous therapy on the unit.
• Train and supervise junior staff and learners as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver oncology and haematology care.
