Zusammenfassung

The Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiastic registered nurse to join the Oncology and Haematology day treatment unit. You will deliver treatment and investigations, including chemotherapy, and be responsible for ongoing patient care planning and evaluation during your duty span.

Full training will be provided. A post-basic qualification and CAN/SACT UKONS Passport development are encouraged.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold a current Nursing Registration and be a registered nurse.
• Willingness to develop cannulation, CVAD and chemotherapy skills.
• Experience in oncology/haematology settings is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care during shifts.
• Deliver chemotherapy and supportive investigations as part of a MDT.
• Train and supervise others; mentor junior staff as needed.
• Work across ward and clinic areas to ensure continuous care.
