Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced dietitian to join our specialist oncology team. You will provide nutrition and dietetic support across in- and out-patient settings, with a focus on gastrointestinal cancer late effects, delivering high quality patient care.

You will have at least 3 years in nutritional support, including 2 years with cancer patients, and experience supervising junior staff.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience in nutritional support, including 2 years with cancer patients.
• Experience supervising junior staff.
• In-service education and study leave support offered.
• Opportunity to extend knowledge in a specialist environment and contribute to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide cross-site cover for GI cancer late effects patients and a varied caseload of inpatients and outpatients.
• Deliver an effective nutrition and dietetic service across oncology, gastroenterology and late effects.
• Act as a knowledge resource for junior colleagues, patients, carers and the MDT.
