Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking an experienced nurse to join the TASC Research Nurse Service, based in the Stefani Unit to support oncology studies. You will manage a caseload of study participants, ensuring high standards of care in line with GCP and governance requirements.

The post requires RN registration (RN1/RNA or RN2), a nursing degree or equivalent experience, and strong communication and teamwork within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with RN1/RNA or RN2 Sub-part 1/2 on UK NMC Register
• Educated to degree level or working towards equivalent experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver a portfolio of oncology studies, including early phase trials
• Provide high standards of care to study participants in adherence to clinical trials regulations
• Collaborate with Investigators, CRC Managers and Clinical Research Teams
• Develop strategies to support timely recruitment and study targets
