Job summary

Progroup Recruitment Limited is seeking skilled and reliable Fire & Security Engineers to join our team, specialising in the maintenance and fault-finding of fire alarm and intruder systems across the South London region. The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in line with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years’ consecutive experience as a Fire & Security Engineer.
• Strong technical knowledge of leading fire and intruder alarm systems.
• Excellent fault-finding, analytical and diagnostic skills.
• Good communication and attention to detail.
• Drive with a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and fault-finding on fire alarm systems across South London.
• Maintain intruder alarm systems including Galaxy, Menvier, Texecom.
• Log jobs with CASH and complete timesheets to deadlines.
• Follow BS5839 standards and PD6662 requirements.
• Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota.
• Travel to customer sites with a company van.
