Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Sprinkler Service Engineer for a static site in Teesside. You will deliver mechanical fire suppression and detection tasks on-site, ensuring safety, reliability and clear communication with the client.

The role requires 2+ years of mechanical fire suppression experience, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a full UK driving licence. Willingness to travel for training is expected, with extensive training and progression on offer.

Qualifications

• +2 years Mechanical fire suppression experience essential.
• Experience on regulated sites preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Knowledge of passive fire protection desirable.
• Willingness to travel for training when needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical fire suppression and detection tasks on-site
• Undertake training for site-specific operations
• Occasionally support electrical, gaseous & passive fire systems
• Liaise daily with the client for permits and instructions
• Participate in the on-call rota (site-only)
• Perform maintenance, commissioning, witness testing, and training
• Report H&S issues or near-misses immediately
• Complete documentation accurately and promptly
• Adhere to all health & safety standards and promote company culture
