Job summary

Key Talent Solutions in Devon is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support a specialist precast project near Exeter. This hands-on, site-based contract role focuses on setting out precast panels and other structural elements.

You will work with the Site Manager to verify levels, alignment and tolerances, read drawings, and use AutoCAD on site where required. A full UK driving licence and your own laptop are essential; commuting distance to Exeter is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong setting-out and surveying experience.
• Confident using levels and surveying equipment.
• Own laptop suitable for site use.
• Full UK driving licence and vehicle.
• Based within reasonable commuting distance of Exeter / Devon.
• Experience with precast elements welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Setting out for precast panels and structural precast elements.
• Checking levels, dimensions, alignment and tolerances.
• Supporting the site team during precast installation.
• Reading and interpreting engineering and precast drawings.
• Using AutoCAD on site where required.
• Carrying out general site engineering duties.
