Job summary

Orion Engineering Services Limited is seeking an Operations Technician to support day-to-day operations, maintenance and facilities upkeep at the Evanton site. This hands-on role ensures facilities remain safe, functional and well maintained within the Operations, Maintenance & Facilities team.

Qualifications

• This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the site, ensuring facilities remain safe, functional and well maintained.

Responsibilities

• Carry out operations, maintenance and facilities work as directed by the Operations, Maintenance & Facilities Lead.
• Complete work orders safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Undertake winter maintenance activities, including gritting roads, paths and car parks.
• Carry out general maintenance and handyman duties across the site.
• Operate site vehicles and equipment where appropriately trained and authorised.
• Support third-party contractors working on site, ensuring work is completed safely and in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the facility.
• Comply with all company Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and be willing to support a variety of operational tasks as business needs require.
