HVAC Total FM Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Technician / Pipe Fitter to join its Building Services Projects Team delivering high-value commercial installations across Southern England.

You will install steel, carbon steel and copper pipework, interpret drawings, and commission systems while managing materials and supporting junior staff. The role emphasizes safety and quality workmanship, with strong career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications in plumbing/pipework, or NVQ level 2+.
• UK driving licence required.
• On-site, high-quality workmanship with attention to detail.
• CSCS/SSSTS/IOSH related safety qualifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install steel, carbon steel and copper pipework up to 6 in (DN150) using multiple methods.
• Install plastic pipework and supports, following drawings.
• Install and commission pumps, exchangers, valves and sensors.
• Manage on-site materials and equipment; maintain productivity.
• Produce progress reports and assist RAMS; support junior team members.
