About the role

To ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and repair of all site facilities, equipment and systems. The On‑Site Maintenance Technician will perform both planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure a safe, efficient and compliant working environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, etc.).
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and maintenance requests to reduce downtime.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, records, and reports.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company safety policies and relevant regulations.
  • Support contractors and service providers on‑site as required.
  • Monitor stock levels of spare parts and materials; raise purchase requests as needed.
  • Participate in site safety meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Your New Role

Reporting into the Site Supervisor, you will have responsibility for a variety of Compliance and Reactive tasks across various services on the site. You operate in a highly visible role in front and back of house areas. You will be required to work independently as well as with colleagues and subcontractors delivering on this high‑profile contract. You will work 40 hours on a 4‑day rota as part of a small team; this will include some weekend work and occasional evening cover.
