Job summary

Algosoup is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed a pod within client organisations and lead technical delivery from concept to working system. You will architect AI-driven solutions, deploy them in production, and iterate toward the client's vision while partnering with non-engineering founders and senior stakeholders.

Algosoup pods embed directly inside client businesses for weeks or months at a time. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you're the person who leads a project to make a system work in a real environment. You're both the builder and the communicator.

You'll continuously scope the problem with your pod's client, ship working versions, and grow the product toward the client's vision. You own the outcome, end to end.

• Obsessive builder: you ship constantly and build for fun, operating at maximum leverage

• Comfortable being the only technical person in the room with non-technical stakeholders
• Self-directed: you don't need a detailed spec to start moving

What you'll need

• A strong technical background: comfortable with all things software engineering, the full A-Z
• Entrepreneurial experience: a software product, model, consultancy, startup, or side project with real users; something you shipped (a major plus)
• An excellent communicator, able to engage with the client and their needs from start to finish
• Based in London and happy to work on-site, with us and with clients across the UK
