Hill McGlynn Recruitment Limited is seeking a Labourer for a construction site in Stevenage. Immediate start on a temporary/contract basis with a pay rate of £16.70 per hour. A valid CSCS card is essential, and previous site Labouring or welfare/cleaning experience is beneficial.

The role combines welfare cleaning with general labouring duties on site. Responsibilities include maintaining clean welfare facilities, assisting with material movement, and following site health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• CSCS card is required.
• Previous construction site or labouring experience is preferred.
• Welfare/cleaning experience is an advantage.
• Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Welfare Cleaning: Clean and maintain site welfare facilities including toilets, canteen and welfare areas; regularly empty bins and dispose of waste; ensure welfare areas stay clean and presentable; replenish basic welfare supplies; report maintenance or safety issues to the site supervisor.
• General Labouring: Assist tradespeople and site management with general duties; load/unload and move materials; keep work areas tidy; assist with deliveries and material storage; support site operatives with basic tasks; follow health and safety procedures; undertake other duties as directed by site management.
