Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join their finance team on a short-term basis. This on-site 6-8 week temporary contract will focus on purchase ledgers and transactional finance tasks to support a busy period in Bath.

You will process supplier invoices, reconcile accounts, prepare payments, and assist with month-end and year-end processes. AAT or equivalent finance experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a

• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.
• Experience working with computerised finance systems.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and investigate discrepancies.
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving outstanding queries.
• Preparing supplier payment runs in line with agreed schedules.
• Maintaining supplier records and creditor accounts.
• Supporting month-end and year-end finance processes.
• Assisting with bank and control account reconciliations.
• Supporting audit requirements and maintaining strong financial controls.
