Job summary

Affinity Water is seeking a hands-on Health & Safety Advisor to promote safe and sustainable working practices across our operational sites, including water treatment works, construction projects and highway works. The role is field-based across the M4/M25 corridor, with attendance at sites such as Chertsey, Staines, Heathrow and Rickmansworth.

You will engage directly with frontline teams to drive Zero Harm through visibility, coaching and practical support, not just compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in water, utilities, infrastructure or construction sectors.
• NEBOSH General Certificate and IOSH membership are preferred.
• Diploma in NEBOSH or working towards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and H&S audits across operational, highway and construction sites.
• Identify hazards with frontline teams and challenge unsafe behaviours.
• Develop and improve safe methods of work and embed safety at all stages of work.
• Coach stakeholders on health and safety matters and act as on-site advisor.
