Cummins Stamford is seeking a Product Functional Test Mechanical Technician for the ATC Engineering team. This permanent, on-site role will involve day shifts with a move to mid shifts, requiring full flexibility.

The role focuses on verifying and validating test data from genset/alternator tests, evaluating engine performance, and troubleshooting. Collaboration with engineers and rigging teams is essential to minimise downtime and ensure safe testing practices.

Formación

• Experience in a genset test cell environment with engine/alternator control systems.
• Ability to interpret complex test data and make timely technical decisions.
• Commitment to health and safety and safe working practices.

Responsabilidades

• Verify and validate test data from Genset/Alternator tests.
• Approve test results using diagnostic tools and software.
• Troubleshoot data and test anomalies; escalate when needed.
• Coordinate with engineers and rigging teams to minimise downtime.
• Support maintenance activities for test cells.
• Drive data quality improvements and process SOPs.
• Promote safe and efficient testing across rotating shifts.
