Job summary

A facilities management company based in Peterborough is seeking a Site Based Supervisor responsible for managing day-to-day maintenance activities. The role includes ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, supervising a team, and providing technical support. Ideal candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills and experience in building services engineering. This is a full-time position with core hours from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing maintenance operations effectively.
• Strong capability to support and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
• Good understanding of customer service and team dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily pre-planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Supervise site PPM works and ensure compliance with site requirements.
• Provide technical support to team and prepare documents for works.

Skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Logical thinker in fault finding situations

Good written and verbal communication skills

Engineering experience within building services

Computer literate with a good understanding of Word and Excel

Education

NVQ / C&G Electrical Engineering

NVQ / C&G Mechanical Engineering

LVAP (Desirable)
