Job summary

Etex Group, via its Siniat brand, is seeking a Drywall Site Technician to cover the South of England. You will provide on-site technical support for drywall and partitioning systems, visiting sites to check installations and resolving technical issues to keep projects on track.

You'll collaborate with contractors, distributors, architects and internal teams to ensure adherence to specifications, promote safe practices, and deliver clear site reports and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support and guidance to contractors, installers, and project teams on drywall and partitioning systems.
• Carry out site visits to assess installations and ensure compliance with specifications, system requirements, and best practice.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues arising on projects, providing practical and commercially appropriate solutions.
• Support contractors with product selection, installation methods, and system performance requirements.
• Produce detailed site reports following project visits, documenting findings and recommendations.
• Deliver toolbox talks, product demonstrations, and technical training to contractors and site teams.
• Work closely with Sales, Technical, and Specification teams to support project conversion and customer retention.
• Promote safe working practices and ensure adherence to relevant health and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, site visits, and project activity using CRM systems.
• Build strong working relationships with contractors, sub-contractors, project managers, and key stakeholders across the region.
• Support warranty and quality-related investigations where required.
• Act as the technical ambassador for Siniat products and systems within the Southern region.
