Job summary

Oakley Food Projects Ltd is seeking a Site Manager to oversee the construction and fit-out of a production facility for fresh produce, ensuring quality, safety and schedule milestones on site.

You will manage subcontractors, enforce Health and Safety on site, update CPP and Risk Assessments, and report progress to senior management daily. This is a PAYE fixed-term project of roughly five months requiring daily site commuting.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification is required
• First Aid at Work certification is required
• IPAF 3a & 3b preferred
• Forklift Licence preferred
• Fire Marshall preferred
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and work to plans
• Experience managing on-site health and safety and permits

Responsibilities

• Oversee one construction project on-site from quote acceptance to completion
• Manage on-site subcontractors and ensure work meets quality standards
• Enforce Health and Safety on site and ensure PPE usage
• Update the Construction Phase Plan (CPP) and Project Risk Assessment
• Ensure timely completion and report progress to senior management with photo evidence
• Conduct quality and safety inspections and sign off on completed work
